Meet Joslyn Blackburn - By day, Joslyn is the founder and CEO of Gold Key Real Estate Group, affiliated with Keller Williams Realty Unlimited. As a real estate broker and strategist, she helps buyers, sellers, and investors build wealth through real estate. With multiple designations through the National Association of Realtors, including her Graduate Real Estate Institute, Pricing Strategy Advisor, and Senior Real Estate Specialist designations, Joslyn knows how to make a plan and see it through.
Joslyn and her husband, LeDerick, have been married for 32 years and have two adult children. The couple has called Cabarrus County home for the past 20 years, though they still proudly carry their Louisiana roots with them. And if there is one thing they will always make time for, it is great New Orleans cuisine.
Joslyn is equally invested in the community she calls home. She is a choir member, leader of the Heaven and Home Help Center, and Trustee at Oak Grove Baptist Church of Harrisburg. She also serves on the Real Estate Committee with WeBuild Concord, is a charter member of the Carolina Pines Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and is a member of the Concord Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Through these organizations, she helps support voter registration, mentorship, healthy living, and other initiatives that strengthen the community.
And then there is the fun fact that might surprise you most: Joslyn was a professional gospel singer. So while she says she has no dance experience, she does have some serious musical credentials.
This year, Joslyn is bringing that musical background to the Dancing for the Arts stage. She may be new to choreography, but she certainly knows her way around a stage. We cannot wait to see what happens when the music starts.
Getting to know Joslyn:
What was your dream job as a kid?
"Owning a hair salon and boutique chain."
If you could spend a day with any artist, living or historical, who would it be?
"Stevie Wonder"
Joslyn is paired with Justin Mann, who has been dancing since the age of two and comes from a true dance family. His parents owned Fancy Feet Dance Studio in Charlotte for 31 years, and he went on to dance professionally on cruise ships for three years. A choreographer and instructor for more than 20 years, Justin now teaches at Legacy Dance Studio alongside his wife, Dawn. One of his career highlights came when he and his brother were named Teachers of the Year by Dance Magazine.
You can support Joslyn and Justin by making a donation and spreading the word. Then mark your calendar for November 7, 2026, when they'll light up the stage at the Davis Theatre!

The Cabarrus Arts Council was founded in 1980 in response to the North Carolina Arts Council's plan to establish a local arts council in every county. In 1982 the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners selected the arts council to serve as its Designated County Partner, receiving and distributing Grassroots funding from the state and the state arts council.
Today the arts council programs and operates the Davis Theatre and The Galleries, conducts one of North Carolina's largest art-in-education programs for both the Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City school systems, supports arts organizations and artists through grants and workshops and serves as a catalyst and consultant for public and corporate art.
